Lemon Cake

                                 

ingredients:

2 tablespoons flour
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter
3 eggs
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons lemon zest
2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice

For the frosting:
3 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup melted unsalted butter
1 tablespoon lemon zest
1/4 cup lemon juice


Preparation:

Preheat oven to 180 °.

Covers two round cake pans with a thin layer of butter and flour.

In a bowl, place two cups of flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt and mix with a balloon whisk.

Put the sugar and half a cup of butter in a large bowl and mix with a mixer on medium speed for about five minutes. Add eggs, one by one, mixing well.

Add some of the flour mixture, then some milk and then another little flour. This continues until all the ingredients mix. Add two tablespoons of lemon zest and two and a half tablespoons fresh lemon juice.

Put the mixture into the cake molds and bake for 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool the cakes and carefully desmóldalos.

To prepare the frosting, mix powdered sugar, lemon juice and butter. Mix until you have a creamy texture.

To decorate the cake, put on half a loaf of bitumen. Place the other bread and cover with the rest of the bitumen. Sprinkle with lemon zest for garnish.
