Banana Soufflé

                                  

ingredients:

1 cup mashed banana
1/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons water
4 egg whites
1 pinch of cinnamon
1 pinch of salt
icing sugar


Preparation:

Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Grease 6 or 8 individual ramekins and sprinkle with sugar, shaking off excess. Put the ramekins on a cookie sheet and put them in the refrigerator.

In a small saucepan dissolve the sugar and water over low heat, boil until it forms a syrup, add the mashed banana and continues moving. Add the cinnamon and remove from heat. Pass a container fire resistant glass and cool.

In another clean dry bowl whisk salt to egg whites until stiff peaks. Incorporates immediately banana mixture cold and provided so bound.

Divide the dough into the mold with a knife and smoothes the surface of the mixture into each mold. Put the soufflés in the oven and immediately reduce heat to 150 degrees.


Bake until they have risen and are lightly browned, about 10 to 12 minutes. Sprinkle the soufflés with icing sugar and serve.
